I wired $11,000 for the purchase of a vehicle from EZSALVAGE and when they did not produce the vehicle they informed me that my $11,000 would be refunded. It was never refuned. Now the company does not answer phones or emails.
I have begun legal action against the company!!

Oh I have no doubt you were ripped off. But what do you mean "wired money"?
I had never heard of this "company" before so I did an internet search and simply entered "ezsalvage". 465,000 results came up but I skimmed through the first 4 pages or so and almost every headline included the word "scam", scammed", or complaint.
Was this deal so good that you would just wire money without investigating, much less a 15 second internet search?
Not trying to place any blame on you as obviously you are a victim, but if others can avoid this scam by the exposure, at least something good can come out of it.
I don't know if there is a solution other then reporting this "company" to the authorities, but we need to let everyone know that you do NOT wire money to anyone you do not know personally.
Wiring money is no different then flushing it down the toilet. No recourse. Actually, you would have a better chance getting the money back if you put on scuba gear and dove into the sewer.
