Facebook - Facebook.com FOR NO REASON FACEBOOK DISABLED MY ACCOUNT. THE TO REACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT, THEY DEMANDED THAT I "SCAN MY GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID" AND EMAIL IT TO THEM. EMAIL IS UNSAFE FOR SUCH REQUESTS! WHAT KIND OF S palo alto California

While using FACEBOOK (adding 'friends') they arbitrarily 'disabled' my account. Then to get my account back, they demanded that I "scan my photo government ID" and EMAIL it back to them! This request is VERY UNSAFE since email can be hacked. Facebook is putting people at risk for identity theft and should know better--so WHY are they requesting this? I did NOTHING WRONG, yet my Facebook account is being held hostage. They are ripping people off by putting their identities at risk! Any bank or financial institution will tell you that emailing personal information of this type is UNSAFE!! DO NOT DO IT!!! Goodbye Facebook, you are scam artists.

FACEBOOK LETS HACKERS RUN SCAMS

MORE THAN LIKELY IT WAS SOME HACKER WHO DISABLED YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE THEN WANTED TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.
FACEBOOK DOES NOT STOP HACKERS AND LETS THEM RUN SCAMS.
THE HACKER MIGHT NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN CONNECTED WITH FACEBOOK.
THEY DON'T CARE WHO COMES ONTO THEIR SITE AND WHAT THEY DO AND WHO THEY SCAM.
THEY DISABLED TWO OF MY PAGES FOR NO REASON AND THEN THEY CHANGED THE PASSWORDS ON THE E-MAIL ACCOUNTS THAT WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THESE SITES.
NOW I CAN NOT ACCESS MY E-MAIL. I WAS UNABLE TO CHANGE IT BACK.
MY ADVICE IS TO NOT USE FACEBOOK.
