Face book claims that anyone can join. they claim that to become a member that you have to use your legal name. Well my Legal name is Santa Claus. and even after I supplied them with a copy of my drivers licence from the state of Utah they accused me of trying to open a false site. so I had my attorneys send them a letter of which they have just ignored. this company has Discriminated and disableld me by them not alowing me to use my real name on there site. This is descrimination as I am not allowed to join because of my legal name. I would be interested in anyone that is looking to file a class action law suit agaist them for Descrimination if any one else out there has had this kind of problem please reply to this report.

Facebook claims Anyone can join there is nothing in there terms of agreement claiming that they can refuse service to anyone in fact the only real thing here is there claim that anyone can join. they further state that you must use your real name. This is what has happend here. I have used my real name and they are calling it into question. however I just bet that if I tried to sign up under John Smith there would be no question. however I would not really be in complience then as I would have used a false name. If they are truely concerned about false accounts on there site they would make every member prove there real name. I have complied with every thing they have required me to do and they have decided even with legal documentation that they have the right to say that I am not who My and I repeat Utah state Drivers Licence and My federal tax returns and my Social Security card says I am. This is Discrimination whether you feel it is or not. they have refused a service open to anyone but me due to my name.

Not discrimination.

Your name does not fall under the protected classes covered by discrimination law.  Your attorney should have mentioned this to you.

Facebook is a privately owned site.   You have no "right" to have an account there.  They are free to choose who they allow on their site.  They can make up any rules they want as far as that goes.  Sorry, but this complaint is going nowhere.
