Beleve me if you put Facebook or facebook.com in the look for company area in ripoff reportl.com you will find out that there are several others that have also had their account disabled for no reason. many of them were members that now have no way to get any of their information such as pictures life storys of their family and freinds. This is just not about me this is about a company that dos'nt have any ragard for the great American way of life or for anyone or anything they choose to rule like a dictatorship. Any other company will at least give a reason when they reject someone from their business Facebook will not. once again my name is the issue here they just cannot accept the fact that this is my real name. I don't expect you to care or even understand but this is not the American way and you know it. With that said I do have a life and it is a good life. however there are benifits to Facebook that I would love to be a part of like connecting with Family members and Freinds that have relocated to other parts of the world. I will live just fine if Facebook absolutly will not let me join. But what they are doing is unfair and impractical for a business that claims to be a true social site.

Facebook is not a court of law

If they operate like a business then they have the right to refuse service. Just because you are in a free country doesn't give you the right to do or say anything you want. I don't know anyone that has been kicked off Facebook so, you must be an exception. Who cares? Move on, get a life!
By the way it's spelled "their" not there.

Civil rights

Actually all these rights you are talking about apply to your rights in a court of law, not a privately owned web site.
As annoying as it may be, the people who own a web site can pick and choose, arbitrarily ban you for no apparent reason, stop you from saying or posting whatever they decide etc. without telling you why. You might do it differently if you ran it but It's their site.
It may even be patently unfair but it's not ellegal.

Facebook violates there own terms of agreement

Ok Robert from Buffalo I guess that you are not one of the people that has a account that Facebook disabled. In there agreement they say ANY ONE CAN JOIN and then they go on and stipulate that you have to use your real name which is just what I did. I have not violated any of there terms however they have. now with that said yes it is there site and they should be able to do with it what they want as long as what they do is equal to anyone that wants to join. I would bet that if I were to use another name that I could join right now although if I did I then would be in violation of there terms of agreement. Further more facebook has made me prove that my name is my name in which I have done. I have provided them enough proof that they could easily still my identity. I have also provided them with all the information as to how to verify everything that I have sent them. I have read there terms and there is nowhere in there that states that they can pick and choose Maybe they should have it in there but as of yet it is not. anyway I take it that you are the kind of person that would imply everyone was guilty before being tried so I am really wasting my time to post this rebuttal. I have always been a straight up guy and have always felt that everyone should be treated equally and this is what I am trying to get across with my report that is all that I am asking of Facebook and they are not wiling to treat me fair. Robert I do wish you a happy day even though you have said that I do not have the same rights as any other person that want's to be on Facebook

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Start your own website.

"I would hope that someone would check out this company and make them follow the laws that are what makes out country so great that we are Innocent until proven guilty. And that we have the right to defend ourselves before we are convicted."
No one has a right to use someone else's website-especially for free.
Start your own website and social engineering service-then YOU will be able to pick and choose who can use YOUR website.
The solution to your dilemma is simple.
