On 4/4/07, I received an email about "Today's Blast Item" from Factory Direct Deals. So I ordered a "Blast Deal of the Day" from Factory Direct Deals. The email listed the Samsung Digimax A7--7 megapixel digital camera at $149.99, but with a value of $199.99.

It was a 24-hour deal that was emailed at 10:30 pm. I placed the order online at ~9:30 the next morning. When I placed the order, at checkout, I was being charged $199.99.

There is a comment box for each order. So in the box, I wrote that I didn't want the camera if they were going to charge me $199.99, instead of the blast price of $149.99.

On 4/6/07, Factory Direct Deals charged my bank account $226.34 for the camera. It has never arrived. They don't answer the phone. It goes to a full voice mail box.

'Lost' Order 'found' & shipped

I was finally able to get through on the phone. My order had been 'lost.' I waited almost 10 minutes on hold while they looked for it before I hung up & called back later. The order was found & shipped the next day. They also refunded the extra $50 I was charged instead of the sale price.

Everything's ok now, but I'm very leery of ordering from them again.
