I started working for Fairfield Resorts in November of 05. At first it seemed like a nice place to work, i was making money and i enjoyed meeting people. after being on frontline sales after 2 weeks they started this intense training 7 days a week. Even on my days off it was manditory training, if you didn't show up you were fired.

At these training sessions we were told to do whatever we had to do to get the sale including lying. You were even told if the wife wanted to buy and the husband didn't pay them against each other.

Fairfield after 2 month's into sales started training the sales people to do their own deeding, alot of deeds were done incorrectly, however we were told to get them in and out as quickly as possible so that the deal wouldn't fall apart.

I was also promised monies for passing my RealEstate test that i am still chasing 5 months later.

I transferred to another dept. after 3 months because i couldn't stand it anymore, it's the same dishonest tatics everywhere you go in Fairfield. This resort needs to be closed down it gives other resorts a bad name.

I was promised that i would be paid 75 dollars more because of my license. 6 days after i started work the supervisor told me the corporate changed the pay.

How long are we going to continue to allow this company to operate in such a disturbing manner. Please someone, help not just me but other people who have been brainwashed into believing the fairfield is the answer to thier problems.

they are brainwashing the people who work for them.

Watch out madison is on damage control. madison hit several of Fairfield's rip off reports early monday moring 12/19/06. come on Madison! even if you are one of the few goog ones you know your co-workers lie and or mislead on a regular basis. If not you should look were all over the net. Unfortunately the practices would be shady.

as you see in definition 3 rushing and misleading clients could be of questionable merit. This would make most salsmen's words unreliable, thus leaving customers uncertain. They may also sign while misunderstanding the true cost, making the company disreputable.

If you have a problem and are this upset, why are you still with Fairfield? Just doesnt make sense to me.

This business isnt for the weak. And there is nothing "shady" about front line sales or tactics. Look into any sales training book and for a sale to be successful you will see that both parties must be in agreement.

The husband DOES listen to the wife. Why not inquire into that if its your paycheck on the line? After all they DESERVE to take wonderful luxurious vacations for the rest of their lives and save money in doing so.

Fairfield is a honest, trust worthy company. Set out to do good in a world full of rush and rush and rush. All we want to do is get people on their dream vacations...how can that be so bad?
