April 16th 2002 I was contacted by Apex marketing, reguarding a "vacation getaway" package in Branson Missouri & Nashville Tennessee for Fairfield Resorts.

I was offered the Branson package, listened to the sales pitch, sounded great, I was told it was a time share & all I had to do was listen to a one hour speech & tour. I was never asked any question reguarding finances what so ever. When a second lady did the verifying she offered me the Nashville package at a discount with the Branson package, I took it also.

When I decided to book my vacation, I was asked what credit card I wished to use, informed them I had none to use, they stared asking me financial information, at that time I was told I did not qualify due to the fact I did not make $40,000 a year OR have a credit card. They refused to refund my money, totaling $197.52 for both packages, I was told I did not qualify for the vacation & my only option was to "give them away" to someone who did qualify.

All I want is my money back, I tried to report it to the state attorney general office to try to get a refund, but I do not have the cancelled check as I used "electronic withdrawl".....I do however have the orginal paid reciept I received with my reservation informaion as proof of payment.

Do not listen to them, they do not tell you the whole story on the initial phone contact as to how you have to qualify for their vacation packges until later when you try to make reservations.

FAIRFIELD OWNER

AUTHOR: Artie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 28, 2005

I BOUGHT INTO FAIRFIELD 2 YEARS AGO ON A VACATION TO DESTIN,FLA.

THE VERY FIRST THING THEY ASKED ME WAS IF I WAS MARRIED AND IF ME AND MY WIFE MADE AT LEAST 40K A YEAR AND IF WE HAD A MAJOR CREDIT CARD.

THE PART ABOUT THE 90 MINUTE PRESENTATION CAME MUCH LATER IN THE CONVERSATION.

I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU GOT AS FAR AS YOU DID WITHOUT VERIFICATION OF INCOME.

THERE WAS DEFFINATELY A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE SOMEWHERE.ONCE THEY GET YOU TO THE PRESENTATION,THAT 90 MINUTE PRESENTATION IS ACTUALLY GONNA RUN ABOUT 2 1/2 TO 3 HOURS AND YOU ARE GONNA WANT TO SCREAM AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS BECAUSE YOUR FIRST,SECOND AND EVEN YOUR THIRD NO,DOESNT MEAN NO TO THEM,BUT AS FAR AS THE MONEY GOES,EVERY CALL I'VE GOTTEN FOR THE WEEKEND GETAWAYS EVEN AFTER 2 YEARS THEY STILL VERIFY MY INCOME.IN ANY CASE THEY SHOULD REFUND YOUR MONEY.

How Did You Pay For It??

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 23, 2005

The only way you can pay for the vacation package is with a credit card or debit card. If they said you do not qualify or you told them you do not have a credit card, they would have ended the conversation, There would be no other way for you to have payed for your package. And if you really recieved a vacation package somehow, then in it there is a cancellation card you mail back to the company.
