Let me give you the run down in cold hard facts:
1. Date agreed to pick up car 5/21/2010
Date picked up 6/2/2010
2.Price quote with "no surprise fees" $595
actual cost $845
3. Customer service= Horrible
Ben Davidson contacted me saying "we have a truck in the area with space on it" That is his catch line do not let him trick you with that garbage. He then quoted me a total of $595 to ship the car. It took them 14 days to pick up the car after the order was placed. I was in no rush and this did not really inconvenience me so I didn't mind so much. What I do mind is when they ask me for $250 more than the quote after they pick up the car!!!
I was told that they sent me an email to let me know that I would be charged more for the shipping. I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL AT ALL. I told him to send this supposed email and this is what he sent:
"Your car will be picked up tomorrow by Monzon transport there will be an additional amount required of $250.00 to get the move done, please reply. customer service"
This email is almost so implausable that it is laughable, what a bunch of SCAMMERS, AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

SCAM ARTISTS!

That is a spectacularly bad rebuttal with absolutely no facts. Notice how quickly he resorts to name calling. Here are the facts in rebuttal to your baseless claims:
"Evidently this person knows how to scam people and is probably a
professional at it is very easy to say that he never received the email,
scammers know that and the internet is perfect for them. The additional
money went to the driver not us, he knows that very well, since it was
paid to him directly on delivery."
I am far from a professional scammer, I am a medical doctor! It is not
the $250 overcharge that made me angry, it was your lack of honesty. I
would have probably agreed to the increased rate just so I would not
have to locate an alternate transporter, if you would have asked. Also you had 4 contact numbers in which you could have informed me of the change in the contract.
"The customer was emailed prior to the pickup that an additional amount
would be needed to get the car moved, he never replied as a result the
truck picked up the car and when it was d3elivered the customer called,
he indicated that he never received the email"
The truth: I never received this supposed email. When I requested the email informing me of my increased rate that he claims to have sent he immediately began asking about my spam folder. I asked that he forward me the original sent to me it was sent with a manufactured forward heading but not actually forwarded. Furthermore, I called and spoke to you on June,3 2010 and you did not mention any rate increase.
"we then forwarded a copy
to him and did not hear from him again."
Typing the word forward on top of an email does not make it a forwarded email!! A truly forwarded email has the routing of the original email. Once I saw the concocted fake forwarded email I knew what kind scammer I was dealing with. I am not after the money, I really just want other people to know how your company operates so they do not get scammed also.
"There is a paragraph in the contract that deals with this. It seems that
the customer did not read. It also never took 14 days to ship the car,
the date of pickup was much later than the order and this is reflected
in the order."
I read your contract and contacted you and asked you specifically if there would be extra charges (you said absolutely not by the way). You are right about one thing.. after looking at the contract I signed I agreed to a pickup date of 5/21/2010 you picked up on 6/5/2010, 15 days later not 14.

By the same token, it could be you that is the scammer. It is very easy to say that you sent him an email when you never did. The Internet is perfect for scammers who like to do that.
Just out of curiosity, when you quote a price with "no surprise fees", don't you think a 42% increase in the price would "surprise" the average customer? That's not a quote. That wouldn't even qualify as a close estimate.
