Fairway Auto Transport Consistent overchargers! They quote 1 price and then demand more $$ when the vehicle is delivered Internet

First mistake: I chose to use this company because they emailed me and said that they happened to have a truck passing through the area where my car was picked up and traveling through my city. In fact, they didn't have any truck at all, and it took multiple days after that to arrange the transport.

Second mistake: Believing that the quoted price was accurate. My car arrived through a subcontracted driver, and he stated that I needed to pay $75 more than the quoted price on the invoice. I showed him the invoice, called the company on a Saturday, Ben Davidson picked up, and told me he could not help me because the company was closed and his computers were not operational (???). I paid the driver everything I had and am still dealing with the fallout.

Third mistake: Believing the company would have any interest in rectifying the situation. I emailed the company (Ben Davidson, specifically) multiple times about this situation, and they issued a retroactive invoice that they asked me to sign justifying the higher price. After I refused and threatened to report their poor business practices, they offered me $25 to "settle everything" after accusing me of lying, being manipulative, and telling me, "You must be a joke!"

They now are no longer returning my emails and have still not settled anything.



Please avoid this company - it is not worth your time and energy to deal with their shady business practices or the novels they will write in reply to these reviews justifying them.
