Family Credit Counceling Corporation They Stole My Money Too and the creditors will drop us for being late! Lauderdale Lakes Florida

Found out on Monday, when my statements came in the mail as past due...that FCCC has stolen EVERYONES' money paid in September and took off with it! The new company told me, and I quote" American Debt Counceling, Inc cannot say where monies are or went". If they picked up the clients of FCCC they SHOULD tell us more that that! I wonder if ADC took our monthly payment because when I first entered this program, without any knowledge, they took what I thought was to be my 1st payment...was actually considered a donation as they were a non profit organization. Could ADC be hiding this important piece of the puzzle?

Now, if we are 2 months behind our payments, the credit card companies can drop us from the program and demand we pay all monies due...which includes the months it took me (6 months) to get FCCC to get the proposals going. I HAD a 750 credit score before I did this to lower the percentage the c/c companies were charging! So we will be so sunk! I called the Florida Attorney General's Office today and the girl pretty much told me I need to hire an attorney?! What help was she?! And to add insult to injury, there's an ongoing investigation filed is 2006 for deception and unfair practices. Had they done their work, we would NOT be in this situation!

Those of you who have already posted or will be posting, call the Florida Attorney General's Office (Bill McCullem) and fill out the form so they can hopefully get our money back!
