okay. i used to work for these people. theres about 15 employees. yes its a scam, you still get your magazines but ur paying more than you would if you bought them individually. although, your idiots for giving ur banking info over the phone! if u want magazine subsrciptions, go to the magazine website and buy them from there (12$ a yr!) compared to paying 39 a month with frc. secondly, this company is located in montreal, the address in NY is just a mail drop, so dont bother calling ur lawyers. file ur complaints with the BBB. if you want to put these guys out of business do it properly! if you see they charged you, immediately call your bank, and cancel your account (they will give you a new card), if they charged your credit card, call ur credit card company and ask them to do a chargeback (they take ur money back from frc). if everybody canceled their accounts, frc would not be making enough money to function. they would lose money!if you cancel your accounts theyre not making enough money. they cant afford to pay employees, rent, etc, etc. secondly, if you can process a chargeback, do it! FRC's payment processor doesnt want chargebacks, its bad for theyre business. so if they get enough, frc cant even process a transaction! call theyre payment processing company and complain (fast transact 1-800.687.8505 ). Also, no matter how much they threaten you, i guarantee they CANNOT send your account to collections. this will in no way affect your credit. just change your number and u will never here from them again.
