farebuzz.com Alfonso J Ripped off on travel airline reservation New York, New York Internet

Booked a flight to Baltimore MD. departing from what I thought was Panama City FL. through www.farebuzz.com. The agent Alfonso J. did not speak good english and made the reservation departure for Panama City, Panama. When checking over itinerarybefore checking in through the airlines website is when this was noticed.

Promptly called farebuzz and spoke with Arthur who said I would have to pay an aditional $200 to change reservation. Arthur transfered me to another booking agent which so happened to be the same booking agent I booked the original flight from. I was informed the airline I had booked the flight through did not operate out of Panama City FL. and was told they could not get another flight for me.

So after paying $400 for my initial flight booking I'm now out $400 and will not be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I will never use another online booking again after this experience with www.farebuzz.com they are a ripoff and hope this information helps someone else from making the same mistake I made!
