Fast Forwarding Securities Fraudulent Check Midland Ontario

I received a check for $4998.00 on February 17, 2009. The enclosed letter stated that I was a winner of the Shoppers Sweepstakes held on January 5, 2009. My total winnings would be $250,000.00. But, I would have to deposit the $4998.00, then send the company $2995.00 of this to cover the "taxes" that were due. I just didn't feel comfortable about this whole deal, so I went on-line to investigate the matter. I have found that others received the same letter and check for the same amounts. What a coincidence! Beware of this company. I have checked with the Better Business Bureau, the bank the check is drawn from, it's all a hoax! Beware!
