I moved from Florida to Maryland at the end of July 2009. The move was horrific. They came on wrong days and I have 100 pictures to show all of the damage and breakage they did to my furniture. I received someone elses box of photos and memorabilia. Luckily, I found the owners name and was able to contact her so that she could get her stuff back. FMS did nothing about any of this. I then went to there so-called Claims Management Insurance (Anthem) and filed a claim. They OK'd the claim in November 2009 for only $672. I was so tired of fighting with FMS, I settled. I still have not received my $672 from Massimo (Max) Ferrari owner of Federal Moving Systems and it is September 2010. All of FMS numbers are disconnected now except a sales number for Robert, but no calls are returned. I expect they have closed up shop. I have a file 1" thick of information on this move with pictures and all of the Gov't agencies I have contacted. I still WILL get my $672 from them somehow but times are tough and really don't know where to turn. I am also in contact with 2 other people that moved around the same time as I and we are at a loss on what to do.
