FIA CARD SERVICES - BANK OF AMERICA NIGHTMARE WILMINGTON Delaware

My experience with FIA aka Bank of America has been a nightmare. Please do not get any lines of credit loans from Bank of America. FIA is a nightmare alone, I got behind in my bills due to a job loss. FIA (they collect debts for Bank of America) gets involved and they called several times a day in addition to calling they faxed letters to my husband's place of employment. They indicated that they could do that as we reside in a community property state. There is no mercy from these people.

Even though they were bailed out by the government, they are ruthless to their customers. In order to pay them back, I had to sell, beg, borrow to get the money to them. I do not see Bank of America making any monetary or any other types of sacrifices to get their company financially on track other than a bailout from the government. My credit score is wiped out for a very long time. I agree that while I owed them the money, they had no mercy on what I had to do to get the money.

I only owe them $300.00 and once that is paid off no more Bank of America for me. In addition to the above they sent a Christmas card, advising that they were seeking payment. The Christmas card looked like a card you would receive from a family member. Also, they send text messages. This was the most insulting experience of my life. No matter how far behind someone is in their bills they should not receive this type of treatment.
