First, happy the only dent financially was $14. However, signed up for the filmSchoolOnline course believing that as a student you receive lessons and then complete assignments. This is not the case! You receive 3-month access to reading material only! The advertising is misleading and deceptive. The person advertised as having started the school is Louis Lavone( or something like that) who advertising he has been a professor at New York Film School. Yet was not able to find his name in the NYU staff/faculty directory. It's mischievous how a search will pull what looks like a doctored website with his mans credentials.
You have to pay for the course through http://2Checkout.com/ which was no help in identifying the company. The only contact I have had is through one email from Diana. Asked for a refund, I'd be surprised if I receive it. Well, word to the wise "Fool Me Once, shame on you", Fool Me Twice, shame on me"
Better to find a more reputable company, than trying to save a few dollars. Your career and art ashould be worth more to you than if ever will be from some shady debased scam/rip off artist trying dupe you out of money.
Research before buying.

I came across this malicious post and just have to respond. First of all, L ouis runs the production department at NYU and I met with him several times when I was a student there. I searched the Internet as suggested and it is full of his writings and articles, all very informative. I don't know how the original poster missed this. In addition, his website clearly states self-study. How can you expect a teacher for $14? My degree cost over $80,000.
