Finest motors in Ohio.

This is a cautionary story. I recently purchased a 2 year old Audi from alec. We did the transaction on the phone and internet. After asking the typical questions weather it was accidented, clean interior, original miles, etc. he clearly said it did not look like it was in an accident.

After reviewing the carfax i purchased the car and had it shipped to me. 1st lesson, don't believe the dealer and have it inspected by a 3rd party.

As soon as I get it I notice some irregularities in the paint, the next day my front steering axle breaks off. Get it towed to the garage. Immediately the mechanic says this car has been in a serious accident.

I call alec at finest motors to give him the update, he plays dumb and says he had no idea. I am not in the car business but after 2 minutes with the mechanic pointing to the evidence, anyone in the business would have definitely picked this up. Lesson 2, anything found damaged from an accident will not be covered under your warranty.

Conclusion. I made the car road safe and sold it the next week at a loss of over $10,000. Big lesson for me that i hope will spare others.

No! The First Lesson Is.....

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Forget all the other "lessons".  The FIRST and FOREMOST is to NEVER, EVER buy a used car sight unseen on the internet!  Need I go into further detail?  How much common sense does it take to realize the gross stupidity of such a thing?
