First Approval Benefits ripoff scam con artists Fort Lee New Jersey

On April 8, 2003 a man by the name of Dan called me and said that he has a copy of my credit report, and there were several bad things on there and he said that the only way I would be able to get a credit card would be if I accepted an offer to pay $269.00 and I would receive a mastercard with a $3000 limit and a visa with a $10,000 limit with no other money out of pocket. I would have an a.p.r. of 9% and within 6 months with no late payments it would drop to 7%.

I accepted the offer and the amount would be deducted from my checking acct on May 2, 2003. In fact the amount was deducted on May 2, 2003. On my bank statement it shows under transaction (800)274-0701;Des= credit Rep;ID=1303012087 Eff Date:030502; Indn: (my name). All of my other transactions easily read where the money was withdrawn from ie: Walmart, Walgreens, 7-11 etc. All I can say is I hope no one else falls for this scam.
