First Atlantic Investment Group ripoff Portland Maine

I wished I had read from here before I made a big mistake. I just got scammed big time. I was told that I was approved for a $20,000.00 loan and needed to wire $1500.00 to secure it for insurance. Then the next day, something went wrong with my credit or something and they needed an additional $1000.00 wired. I was irate at that point, asking them why they didn't tell me this prior to me wiring them the money. I spoke to a Matthew Berg everytime I called. I wired to a Sandra Burnett in Sudbury, Ontario (CANADA).

Even with all the "redflags" I still wired the money. He faxed me a guarantee letter stating I would receive my loan deposited within 3 hours and if it wasn't then I could get a full refund within 24 hours. Well when the money didn't arrive, I called and my sister called to speak to Matthew and he then told me that we would need to send more money. I thought what the h**l....I was so pissed and knew at that point I wasn't getting anywhere with him. He wanted us to send another $500.00 to get the loan. I told him so basically the guarantee letter meant nothing if you are not abiding by it. He told my sister the money would be refunded on June 9th.

I now realize that I probably will not see my money and I am out $2500.00 This really sucks....I was planning around that date too for my house payment and other misc. things. I am really now in a major hole and don't know what to do.
