I was also contacted by Matt Buchanan (if that is his real name) on 5/23/2006. He told me that I was approved for a $5000.00 loan if I paid the first four months up front. After checking out the documents, calling Better Business (which I was told that there were no reports yet) and sending the money I was informed that there was a "problem with my file" and I would need to send additional payments to complete my loan process. After arguing with a new Person "Mike" it was decided that I would go ahead and send the extra money. I even got what looked like a legit document "Guaranteeing" that after receiving the extra money the $5000.00 would be in my account within 3 hours. When I called back, I was informed that the Lender had backed out of the deal and that I would receive a full refund of $1789 on June 9th. So far I have received nothing and all phone numbers have been disconnected. I did "google" the address and found another company in the "same complex" The woman who answered told me that they had been getting alot of calls and she had never seen the company. She also gave me phone #'s to call for the Attorney General (207) 626-8850. Better Business (508) 652-4800. and the Canadian Authorities (705)494-3624. If anyone receives any information, please let me know.

Well, I waited until this morning and still no money. If any one else received one please let us all know. If not, those of us whose refund date was June 9th can start alerting the authorities now.
