First Premier Credit Card First Premier Bank Fostering Identity Theft Sioux Falls South Dakota

I received this letter about a week ago form them asking me to confirm that they were not to distribute my name, address, and social security number. If I do not return it in an unspecified time frame they will share my personal information with affiliate and non-affiliate organizations. This must be illegal. I consider this a threat from a bank which I don't even hold an account. Identity theft is my concern.

Approximately 6 months ago I did receive a card from them with a credit limit of $200 and $187 dollars in fees already charged to it. I never used it and called immediate stating that I didn't request it and that the account needed to be closed. They did close the account.
Since then I have read all kinds of terrible things about this bank on the internet. The only good thing I've seen is on their own home page.

I have excellent credit and am very concerned at this banks behavior. I would like them to delete my information from their system. A fraud watch has been placed on my social security number for now.
