My experience with Firstline Security has been exasperating and mysterious. Initially things seemed to be going smoothly. However, when I called the city to make a billing change, they informed me that they had no record of Firstline having any access to Cheyenne city government for residential protection.

Well, I thoght maybe it's too early for the company to have established contact with the city. I waited another month and then I received a bank statement apprising me of three withdrawls excted out of my account in one month by Firstline Security. Needless to say, I was alarmed. How many payments do they feel entitled to in one month?

Thus, I tried to contact the company by phone. This is an exercise in utter futility. First, I waited over thirty minutes to talk to a flesh and blood person. When I did they could not answer my questions and told me someone would contact me later by phone. Eight months later I am still waiting.

I also sent the company an email, but to no avail. No response. Nadda! I knew that I at least should protect my bank account. The only way to prevent the unwarranted pilferring of my account was to close the account. This costs me an additional 30 dollars.

But alas! Closing the account at least prompted a series of automated responses from Firstline. They did not care about my concerns or questions, but they became giddily concerned when they coulod not squeeze any more money from my bank account. By the way, the mysterious nocturnal calls do not give you any information. They merely command you to call another mysterious 800 number.

The latest chapter of this tawdry saga occurred last week when I received a letter from Firstline threastening to turn my account over to a collection agency. The letter also admitted that they had expereinced some b"previous issues with the prior billing company." You think? Well, once again being a glutton for punishment I tried to call them. Of course I could not talk to a warm body. They extended me the courtesy of allowing me to leave a message (limited to about 45seconds) and informed me that due to volume of calls (i.e. screwups) it would be three to four days before my call was returned. Wouldn't you think they could hire some more receptionists?
I went to their web-site onlt to find that I could not access any of my account information. The only thing the web-site offers is the same lame 800 number where you get to chase your tail and leave another phone message.

The only fortunate thing in regards to googling the Firstline web-site was that I discovered this web-site where I was at least consoled to see that Firstline had also managed to disgruntle many more cosumers and employees.

If you are considering doing any business with this company, read some of the letters of complaint on this web-site. Then get a silver cross and some garlic and bar the door!

If anybody knows anything about a class-action lawsuit, I would like some information.
