Talking about what Firstline did to us just really pisses me off but I want to let everybody who has worked for them, or might possibly work for them in the future know how things really go down in the Firstline Company.

First off, Firstline is actually going bankrupt, but the way I figure it they probably do this every year. In the spring they'll start up a new security company, under a different name, and hussle up a bunch of scared college kids, with huge student loan debts and brain wash them into selling their crap for them and then leaving them in the dust to lick their own wounds while the big whigs in the company take off with their money and then file bankruptcy.

My husband worked for them from may until october. He missed going back to school in the fall, and on top of that they stranded him in Sacremento California. When he decided that he just couldnt sell anymore they looked at him and right then and there, without letting him go back to his room to get his things they demanded his key and told him not to show up at his apartment anymore. Luckily his room mate let him in to get his things, but he had know way to get internet access to get a bus or airplane ticket back home to Washington. He also had no phone (because it had gotten stolen from him by one of the people he was trying to sell to and they didnt reimburse him for that.)

Then when we moved to Texas his November "backend" check was supposed to come in. It was $2300 less than we expected, supposedly because people canceled their contracts and $450 worth of damage left in the apartment and all sort of other excuses was the reasonn his $4000 check was dropped down to only $1800, and the manager told us that in February we would recieve another check for $1400 so it would all work out correctly. That very same day they took another $100 off his check and only wrote it for $1700. Oh but it gets worse.

We accepted the check Dec 3. It should have only taken two weeks to get to Texas. It NEVER got there. It was recent in January. We recieved it the 18th. It bounced TWICE and cost us over $500 in fees. So if you want to save time and energy and save yourself a headache and fees... DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE OR FOR ANYONE LIKE THEM! If they dont pay you everything up front then their shady!
