I recieved a call from ChaseReck which is a collections agency. They are stating that Fitness Evolution-Fort Washington Maryland sent my account to collections. I utilized their sevices last year 7-30-13 and paid upfront $222.00 for 6 months. At the end of the 6 months I could pay again for another 6 months but, choose not to. Now, a year later they are stating that I owe $278.88 for the initial fee and 2 months behind schedule of $119.98. 

My next step is to file a report with BBB and Federal Trade Commission.

Golds Gym/01 Fitness Evolution Swift Funds Collections Turned me over to Swift Fnds and never ever contacted me about my bill. This is funny because I had auto pay out of my checking and when it converted from Gold's to Fitness they quit taking money out of my acct. so I assumed since it was under a new name I would have to sign up again and just never did. Then I find out 2 years later almost that I have an outrageous bill in collections! No One EVER notified me of the bill building up they just quit taking the money out of my checking and then this! Fitness Evolution Gold's gym and Fit U have not gone for a year they have been taking money out of my account . This is a no contract gym. They make it real hard to quit. I was threated that they would send me to collections if I diden't pay them 179.00 which I regreatfully paid !! They are scammers and have lots of hidden cost. I feel so ripped off and helpless. Fitness Evolution I originally joined Spectrum Fitness in 2011 and set up an automatic withdrawal at that time for the 1st of every month. Evidently Fitness Evolution took over Spectrum Fitness and I get a call from the billing company telling me I am late even though there was an automatic withdrawal from my checking acct on the 15th. (after going into the fitness center in Gilbert, AZ it was explained that my billing cycle was changed to the 15th and I was double billed. Then the manager tried to convince me to keep my membership. After an argument ensued she told me to leave. So I have ended up emailing the cancellation request to Evolution Fitness and they are going to bill me for another month becuase I have to give them 30 days notice. They didn't give me 30 days notice. Gilbert Arizona
