Fitness Works Discrimination against my biracial children Chandler Arizona

 I joined fitness works September of last year. It was ok and I got a personal trainer to help with my weight loss. i also had the the daycare access if I need to take my kids. Three weeks after joining my husband took our oldest son with him. At this time he was six, and mind you he his half black half white. After leaving the gym our son tells us that a little white girl tells him that she does not want to sit by a black boy. The staff member there proceeds to get in contact with the little girls parents, but never notifies my husband that there was an issue. I call about the issue and ask to speak to the manager in the daycare section. Never get a call back.

I finally go in and the manager never says she is sorry and proceeds to talk about the issue in front of everyone! At this point I ask to talk to the general manager and he never seem to be around when I call or go in. I ask to cancel my membership. They say only the manager can. I cancel the card that they had on file until I could talk to the manager about the issue. Some how they get my new card information and charge me anyway. At this point I'm super pissed off and I go down and started firmly talking to the staff until I got a manager to come out. She said she was the assistant manager, so I tell her the whole story and she said that they were having a managers meeting and would bring the issue up to him then and that he would call me the next day.

Towards the end end of the day I finally get a call from the general manager. I tell Hume I want to cancel my membership and my personal trainer. He finally says he did it. I never get a sorry for anything about the issue or how his staff treated me and my family. This was end of November. October 28, 2015 just about a year later I get a call from fitness works financial people. The lady tells me that my account has been re activated and could not get ahold of the gym and ask why. I call and and take to the operations manager Mike. He said I still owe them money for the personal trainer. Even though she quit after four sessions in, when all this started. Mike even admitted that about the time I had issues at the gym that they were shady. He told me to call the costumer service number and I can't get ahold of them. This proves they are a scam and just want money. Horrible people!
