I just read the other posts regarding this company. They seem accurate, but in Five Brother's defense there is always two sides to a story. Unforutantely, these guys dont like to admit if they've made a mistake. I'm still doing work for them, but they are horrible with quality of instructions provided on work orders (they constantly try to send people back for more information that was never originally requested), they are the masters of trip fee only orders, they use their "vendors" who signed up to do property preservation orders as inspectors and only pay a $25 trip fee, they have a really hard time taking no for an answer when they need you to do a "favor" for them, I have been with them for 3 years now and I have had a new regional rep on average every 3 months "longest was 6 months", they are extremely unknowledgeable regarding any type of contruction, repairs, or maintenance issues (they never understand the scope of large jobs), they can be threatening on the phone if you refuse to take on additional work, they have the worst nettiquette (dont be surprised to get up to 10 e-mails regarding a work order assigned the day before) and worse of all they claim to take bids, but they should not be called bids, because if you submit one they feel is too much, they will simply change it, or demand that you lower it (they seem to lack knowledge of definition of the word bid).
I dont mean to bite the hand that feeds, but these guys are ridiculous sometimes. I've heard things like "we make mistakes too, we are not perfect" or "dont worry about the order being in kickback status, 50% of our orders do that". They expect there to be a problem with your work, if you look at it this way, if the photo inspector's dont find something "wrong" with your photos, then it appears they are not doing their job, so you get re-opened orders all the time just asking to explain a photo, or take a different angle picture etc.
As far as other companies in this industry goes, Five Brothers has its advantages. Such as they generally pay a little more for initial orders/wints and they do generally pay without taking more than 1 month turn around.
Their uploading system is horrible and is hands down the worst in the industry. They have a ridiculous system of checking bubbles with little room to write explanations, a simple problem they should fix. Safeguard and FAS blow these guys out of the water when it comes to knowledge of industry, tech support, and volume.

Hi I read you your Ripoff Report on Five Brothers it seems to me that all these REO Property Management Companies treat their contractors the same. I have read similar reports on all three companies and yet I have not had the pleasure of working with them. As I stated in another post on here I own a Licensed, Bonded and Insured Green Cleaning Company and would like to know who are the best companies to work for? I hope you could give me some insight on how you got on with them and what they will ACTUALLY PAY. Thanks for your help!
