We found our connection to often be slower than dial up, when it was even working at all. We were left for days without any service at all and then we were told we should be grateful for the crumbs tossed to us. The professional installation is pretty much a joke, particularly the word professional because that is the last word to be associated with this company and/or its employees. Do not expect any help in getting your computer online with their service unless the technician they send out happens to feel like helping you do so. Also do not bother to call Flashbyte to ask for assistance because "they don't do that" but they will be happy to send out a technician at $45 an hour to assist you.

Their rating with the BBB is F for good reason. If you read their terms of service you will discover how little protection there is for the consumer. The owner of the company is totally unresponsive to customers. He seems to be in hiding. Interpretation of the Terms of Service is strictly based on the interpretation of their Support person, Brenda Barnes, and as a customer you are at the mercy of her erratic whims and moods. Call the support line because you have not had service in days and days and if Brenda is having a bad day she will have your equipment pulled alleging violation of their TOS. This will be despite the fact that you have paid for a year of service in advance so there will be months left on your contract but you will be unable to recover any money you have lost or your deposit. (They charge $591 for the year plus $99 installation fee plus $99 equipment deposit).

As it turned out our many problems with the service was due to their faulty equipment which no one could manage to work properly.

No matter how badly you would like to have faster internet service think twice before calling this company. It is a losing situation for the customer financially and these are not people worth stressing over.
