I purchased a car at Florida Fine Cars on April,29th 2012 and put $6000.00 as a down payment. They told me the tag fee was $400.00 and had to be added into the financing to which i replied i don't want that added so I paid an additional $400.00 up front which put me at $6400.00 down.

The deal was done I left with the vehicle. A few days later I got a call from the dealer stating that they had aquired a better financing deal at a lower rate so I should come in to redo the paperwork.

I went in and they restructured the deal but i did not realize that they changed my payment for the tag from $400.00 to $200.00 on the new contract.

Now 2 weeks later when I went in to get my tag they told me that I owe them
$200.00 for the tag. I reminded them that I had paid for the tag already and
even reminded them in detail of the conversation we had in regards to the tag
payment, because they insisted that the tag be including into the financing and
stated it was policy. To my amazement they claimed to have no recollection of
any such thing. Luckilly i had the original contract in the car and went and
got it. When i showed them the original contract they simply said "you
signed the new contract and someone is going to have to pay for the tag and
it's not us".

After over an hour of trying to resolve the issue with management they simply refused to budge. I now will have to file suit to get my tag as i don't feel that i should have to pay for something twice, especially when they are obviously attempting to rip me off.

This Dealership is not an honest establishment and is clearly set on ripping people off. I don't understand why the State of Florida allows these businesses to opperate in such a manor; someone in authority needs to investigate them.
After sending my complaint to the State Attorney they agreed to give me my tag. Now a year later when I went to renew my tag only to find that they had put a claim on me for non-payment so that I can't renew it. The manager Chase and Les are thieves and run a con business. The State needs to arrest them and their cohorts and shut that business down.
