I used my GI Bill money (what little I had, as I was medically discharged very early in my contract) to attend this "school", my mistake. I should have taken my Ssgt's advice and been and informed consumer. I, at the time, did not know the difference between a Nationally accredited school vs a Regionally accredited school. There is a HUGE difference in the two, needless to say with the 'degree' that I 'earned' with FTC I am not in the healthcare field as was my intention. I was poorly trained and unable to find a job with said degree. One is required to do an externship at the end of the course to get practical application of the skill set that is learned over the 18 months that you are enrolled there. It's hard to find a site for externship due to the poor reputation of FTC in the community. I wasted my entire GI Bill and am still paying school loans off for a degree that I can't use. I can't transfer the credits to a 'real' (Regionally accredited) school. Please do not make the same mistakes I did, be an informed consumer. Make sure that the school you intend to attend is REGIONALLY accredited.

That is not ok at all. If you stop by or call me at 407 447 7300 I will help sort all this out for you with my senior financial aid person. That sounds like a crazy outcome. As the President of FTC I can help with any issue you feel needs attention - regardless of the campus or problem.
If you feel we have done something that is either incorrect or made any error in your academics, financial aid, benefits, or any other issue - you have with me someone who can get to a resolution - you just need to seek me out.
Filing a complaint here is at best a crap shoot - I don't read the RipOff Report.
Here is my number 407 447 7300, my administrative assistanrt is Jennifer Durant - if I am not there, ask for her, if she is not there, leave me a message with contact information and dome details.
There are no circumstances where any student attending FTC needs to feel like a victim.
If something warrants review and additional action - we will take it.
But I cannot help you if i don't know you.
Generally the only people who read this stuff are people wanting to complain - complain to me, the results may end up being better.
If you gave up on yourself it will be difficult to make it all go away - but we can try.
If we gave up on you than we can fix whatever is possible

Former Student Ripped Off

I attended FTC for 2 years and everything was fine.....(Smart not to get an IPAD). Last moth of my final course I walked to financial aid to check and make sure everything was fine and got the ok and that I will recieve a check for 1500 for the remaining. I was like yeahhhh!!.....a month later...no check. Checked again with financial aid, Oh im sorry...you owe over 10,000 because you did not get approved for one of your financial aids. SINCE WHEN???? Now currently I will get Debt collector mail stating that I owe the school over 22,000!!
WHAT?????? You mean to tell me I been attending school....flew under financial aid radar, did all my aid money forms correctly, periodically checked with F>A> but I still owe 22K?? You mean to tell me that you let a student attend college....and instead of pulling the student out...you let him attend and build up money?? Is there anyway possible to get any kind of legal advice and what steps to take? They want me to attend again...and said they will fix the [problem if I do. NOT GOING TO HAPPEn. ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!
