Mr. David Ruiggeri

Please explain what the admissions process is at FTC. When I signed up..it was nothing at all..no test..no real questions about your ability to benefit from the program you sign up for. I read earlier where you stated that out of every 100 people who attempt to get in only 15 get in? Really? My pet fish could get in. It's a joke. So please inform me of the admission requirements at FTC and of the entrance exam. Perhaps someone at the Lakeland Campus was not aware. But of course that is doubtful. And as for your staff..your regional chair, you know the one that is a certified bartender trainer, or some non sense..the same one that was arrested in 1997 for burglary of a dwelling with assault or battery, perhaps she should be educated on discrimination laws, civil rights, health issues and the different stages of disease. Perhaps you should educate your self on the ethical and right way to run a school. You and your staff are no better than someone who robs a bank..or better yet Food Stamp Fraud, everyone one in Lakeland is so informed on food stamps..funny..you take educational funds from the US Gov. On behalf of students who will not benefit from the education. You should be ashamed and you should realize not every student that goes to FTC is not ignorant, disadvantaged and uninformed. One day a student will go after FTC and put it out of business. This school is the lowest of the low, and you and anyone involved in this straight up fraud should be ashamed. So....please inform of the admissions criteria.

Thank you

There is a problem and I hope it gets resolved

AUTHOR: K. Mock - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 10, 2017

A family friend of mine worked at FTC for approximately 2 years. She is a remarkable young lady who had to face the real world at a young age and has turned her life around. In the early midst of working at this company, things began rapidly increasing; her grades went up, her career was flourishing, her attitude and relationships with friends and family were looking up. Months went by and things started to change. None of us knew what the reason was why she kept to herself, dismissed herself from family outings and just started staying home; looking like she has lost her purpose in the world.

Myself, as a family friend, didn't know what had happened until she got fired from FTC. The whole story basically was spilled out when tensions were high between friends and family.Relationships and feelings were tested and finally we were able to figure out what went wrong. My family friend had gotten involved with someone who she trusted and it backfired. A friendship grew into what she thought was a relationship starting to form but quickly found it she wasnt what she had thought. She felt betrayed and ultimately got burned in the process not only by an upper authority figure at the school but fired for inappropriate behavior as quoted from the directors.

Weeks went by with countless hours of therapy not only because she had to figure out how to move on and let the past be the past but she wanted her life back and get over the shame and hurt she was left with. An apology was later received much later as time progressed. People thought differently about my family friend which is the real sad part about all of this. She met some great people at her time at FTC and its a shame that friendships ended because of a nasty breakup on her end. She learned from her mistake that you can not obviously trust everyone that you come into contact with and sometimes its best to just follow your heart and dreams regardless of who's behind you. She didn't deserve the heartache, embarassment, and ridicule that followed with her after her departure from FTC. A manager employed by FTC told a vunerable and young lady that she was special and a rare find then turns around and crushes it in a second when questions are brought up.

All in all, I am writing this not only because I feel for my family friend and I am thrilled to see her overcome such huge obstacles in a short amount of time but because FTC changed her as a person. She is always going to be able to remember what FTC took and gave her. It gave her an education that she still uses to this day; however, it took a valuable part of her heart and soul as a person.

You Sir are a liar

AUTHOR: Whiteyford - ()

POSTED: Saturday, March 30, 2013

Once again I am not an ex-employee...funny though seems that you are aware of many unhappy employees and students. I have called your office numerous times..you never pick up or it goes directly to voice mail. I also find it hard to believe that a COO such as yourself, with webs sites to manage, schools to build, and stacks of the governments money to count is really posting on this web site. I'm sure one of your staff is taking care of it for you. Is it not true that these schools have all been under investigation? The education provided is not up to par with what the community is looking for. I in fact have documentation that FTC graduates are not considered educated enough to work in many offices, and that in fact when a resume comes to HR with FTC graduate on it, it is disregarded as a joke.. An unqualified applicant. So keep defending your scam of a school ..eventually you will again be put under investigation just like you were with Corinthian.

By the way, has a family member of yours graduated from FTC? And become a successful member of society? This is doubtful...count your money while you can. The day FTC is brought down will be a burden off of the real tax payers and hard working people that are funding your ridiculous scam of a school.

No Actually

AUTHOR: David Ruggieri - ()

POSTED: Thursday, March 28, 2013

Because you are not a student. And for the record call me any time at 407 447 7300.

Again, disgruntled employees pretending to be students is a tactic that can only be appreciated by those who do the same thing.

If you are/or were a student and you have an issue, address it.

If you are an ex-employee who could not, or would not do their job - move on.

Either way accept responsibility for what you actually do and for the value you actually create - spend more time looking for a job you can do and quit wasting your time on this ridiculous effort.

If you have an issue - deal with it.

Did you misunderstand

AUTHOR: Whiteyford - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 27, 2013

Did you not understand what I wrote? You don't believe I am a student? Why, because you depend on lessmeducated people to attend college there? Of course you do, that is clear. And believe me sir I am using other methods of having my voice heard. I choose to post here, so other people avoid your scam of a school. Why do,you constantly troll this sight? Because you known FTC is a scam, that's why. By the way are you the same COO that used to be with Corinthian Colleges? You know ..the ones who were investigated for taking advantage of the underprivileged? We're fined $1,000,000 or donated the money to the Urban League? Call your Lakeland school. Talk to the people who work there, they know who I am. And mad! Yes sir, mad enough to make sure your put out of business..Mad that your administration is Lakeland are liars, mad that you are stealing from the government. But amused enough, that you spend your time defending your school On the RIP OFF REPORT. That is an admission in itself. And I will be glad to speak to you, but see you omitted Your phone number...

We're there is smoke, there is fire

You Sound Like a Person Who is Struggling

AUTHOR: David Ruggieri - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 27, 2013

You do not sound like a student, but maybe a disgruntled employee, one who generally we wind up terminating for attitude issues - with all that hostility and an inability, that comes accross clearly to me. I am sorry it dis not work out for you at FTC and even more sorry you are omitting your name. It is easy to hide behind acquisitions with nothing more than personal biased opinion. Our admissions standards are published - if your not familiar with them then that may be a reason you did not excel. However, they are clear and we follow them - and yes - we actually do enroll about 13-15 people out of 100 people who are looking into FTC - that by the way seems to have worked for the more than thousand people who graduated from FTC in the past year. So your problem is, your problem - youur commentary about the school noted, but of little validation to me. If you wish to speak to it, call me and then maybe I will give your comments some serious consideration - but only if they have a valid foundation - yours don't at the moment. You are just complaining about, well nothing.

Now if you have a suggestion, tell me. I am open to constructive suggestions.

If not, you used the method to be heard. Thanks
