$35.00 for a Smithfield 1.67lb mvp card would be $19.00 and cents. At the register I handed the cashier my card and she told me it was $35.00. No it was $19.00 with the mvp card. She said, no spend $25.00 and get the ham for $19.00. This is what the sign said, in order to get two hams for $19.00 you have to spend $25.00.
So I had to paid $35.00 . They had no turkeys at all, thats what I went for. The manager back her up.

Policy from Smithfield company

That was the purchasing policy for Thanksgiving/Christmas. You had to spend $25 or more to receive it for $19, I had tons of customers make the same mistake and they were outraged as well, but don't take it out on the cashiers, we don't make the rules, policies, or prices! Of course the manager backed her up. You need to read the complete ad.
