5 Years ago Forchetti Pools had replaced a liner/coping in my pool. After Mr. Forchetti had instructed me on how to claim this to my insurance company, it came to past that I would cover half the expenses of the repair. I have had problems with this repair work ever since. After the 1st year the coping started to come up. I called Mr. Forchetti and complained about this and he did not want to come out unless I gave him his 300.00 fee. After arguing for several days he then states, "well if were ever in the area I'll send somebody over". Needless to say that never happened. I reported him to the BBB which was a waste of time. It's now 4 years later and the coping and liner are in worse shape than ever. Coping is falling off pool. I called Mr. Forchetti this past week under the guise of a new customer looking for repair work. He sent out 2 installers who preceded to tell me that who ever installed this did a bad job, only used non galvanized screws and not enough to secure the coping to wood.At this point I tell them that they in fact did the job. One installer turned to the other and told him "No More Talking". I may also add it cost me another $300.00 to get these guys to come out. Mr Forchetti will not guarantee nor put it in writing concerning his work. That should be a red flag to other potential customers. When I confronted Mr. Forchetti what his own installers said, he told me that they don't know what they talking about. Talk about doing the backstep, Really? Till this day he will not stand behind his installing/repair work. He offered to repair at a ridiculous cost. I felt this was his error from the start and I was not willing to pay that much for it.

FORCHETTI POOLS COMPLETED ONLY THE WORK PAYED FOR AND ALL WAS SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED .

AUTHOR: Craig Forchetti Pools And Spas - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 04, 2009

I am the person that Insstalled the liner and coping and here is the real story. In 2003 (over 6years ago) weForchetti pools installed a liner and aluminum coping on the pool for this person.ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED and the customer signed that they were satisfied. NOW over 6 years later this person calls us because some coping is loose and there is no problem with the liner. This person deceives us and gives a fake because he is trying to avoid paying the agreed upon standard $295 inspection fee that we are intitled to.We noticed that sopme screws were corroaded and we told him that we can make the repair for a discount price since he was a past customer. Our inspector revealed that the screws are subject to chemical abuse and that is what caused the corrosion. Our inspecter brought a helper with him because they branched off fom another job to get to this customer fast. The helper did say to the owner that it looks like who ever did it is to blame. This helper has no experiance and was told by the inspector that thaty was not true and something such as chemical abuse was the cause. Well the customer hears this invalid claim by the helper that only started 2 weeks ago and feels that Forchetti pools is to blame. This customer is unreasonable and we are still willing to help him out however,we can not be responsible 6 years later for a problem that was evidently caused by the homeowners.
