I contracted with Forever Young to have laser for my face and abdominal area.  Roger convinced me that it was a good deal and I signed up.  24 hours later I decided to rescind my contract because of circumstances at home and I did not feel that I had the time to enjoy the services and focus on just that.  I followed the instructions to the letter for cancelling the contract.  Was notified by corporate office they had received the candellation and that I would receive my money/check in two weeks.  Two weeks came and went; a month later I called to inquire. Was told that they had received the the cancellation and had processed the payment and that I should have received it.  Told the lady that I had not.  She said she would check and call me back.  I did not hear from them for 3 weeks I called again.  Left a message.  Did not hear from them.   Left several other messages and still did not hear from the.  I sent and e-mail.  Still nothing.  Went into the Hillsboro office and they told me there might be some misunderstanding and to try again.  Called again and still nothing.

I filed in small claims.  Showed up to court; Forever young was a no show.  The judge signed the judgement in my favor.  Then I spent the next two months following the small claims process.  I ended up getting a writ of garnishment.  Fortunately for me I had their bank and account information from the cancelled check I had for the original payment.  I garnished their account.

One important fact here:  the last service I requested at the sheriff's office the office their asked me "what is going on with that company".  I responded that I didn't know but that they refused to return my money.  He added "we get alot of these for them".  Meaning alot of small claims suits.  He further added that at some point (after so many suits) the DA will file a legal charge against them for malpractice.

These are all facts that can be substantiated if you research the court records.  There is no fabrication.  Fortunately, I know the court system enough to follow through.  And the money was substantial ($5,000).  Others might, unfortunately, give up and let Forever Young get away with their scam.  I was able to recover only what the court allows you.  I am still out of all my time, gasoline and miscellaneous expenses for research, forms, meals.  I am outraged that they are still in business and expecially since the sheriff's office is aware of their unscrupulous business practices.

I used their services and actually liked them until I was moving and was told I could transfer my stuff into other people's names long as I paid a fee. Well they took my money for the fees and it's been 4 months and no one has made my people's accounts for me and my account looks the same.  I even have emails and recordered calls stating when they took my money they will make my accounts for me and they still haven't.  NOW no one is returning my emails or calls..It's pathetic and unethical to take people's money and not do what they say they are going to do, but what would you expect since the owner is a former worker who slept with the married boss to get the company? Pathetic company.. Pathetic people.. Since I have proof I guess a trip to small claims court is next.

Do not believe anything this consumer has to say.  He is over exaggerating and lying.  The refund process does not take that long unless the consumer did something outside of policy. 

The truth is, Forever Young Oregon has the best prices for the services they offer and you can not get better financing at any other salon.  They give young and old, rich and poor, the same opportunities and are very medically advanced. 

Do not believe everything you read; most of it is disgruntled ex-employees or clients that did not do as they were directed as consumers.  Being a client and employee at the same time, you start to learn what is real, what is fake and who is merely mad at the world!

Case by Case

I know the refund process personally and can say that not all of them take this long.  These consumers seem to have a bad, but not common, experience and if you talk to most others, you will see that the refunds happen in a timely manner and the gals at the corproate offices are always willing to offer a free tan or spa service for any delay.  Everything is a process, yes, but for good and legal reasons.  SO, do not beleive everything you read....

Wow! I guess I'm lucky. I'm so far over the hill as to be "forever old".   Lacking any vanity in my personality, that's just fine. My only concern is the next page in life "forever dead".  (time for the big dirt nap)

Hey, why complain.  You got your money back.  Why should the company pay for your meals, gasoline, forms, etc.

You thought you could get rich off of this.  Furthermore, spending 5000.00 to get hair removed from your face is way too expensive.
