After listening to the sales pitch, based solely on the representation that there were dentists who offered discounts in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and being myself a health and life insurance agent, I spent the money to sign up for their program. When I received the information on their discounts there were no dentists offering a discount on their services in Lake Havasu City.
The only other service I contacted was a home security business, but you could not buy their equipment without also signing up for a monthly service. I have been told that they now have changed their percentages if you enroll someone else in this "multi-level-marketing scam" which is really a pyramid if the products offered are not available.

Judy Hammerschmidt was not licensed in Kentucky

AUTHOR: fhtmfacts - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2012

During her 10 year tenure, according to the Kentucky Bar Association, Ms.Judy Hammerschmidt was committing the unauthorized practice of law in Kentucky and in early 2012 was reprimanded for same offense. How can FHTM consider themselves legal when their head attorney was NOT licensed in Kentucky to practice law?

Misrepresentation of FHTM

AUTHOR: Elaine - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 19, 2009

Dear Shannon...
THe first step in filling out this rebuttle form was to check a box as to my position or affiliation with the company you spoke about. I checked the employee box not because that is accurate but because that was the closest description to my affiliation with FORTUNE HIGH TECH MARKETING. First, let me set the record straight by saying I am NOT an employee of, I am an INDEPENENT REP with FHTM. I OWN my business.....I work for ME not any boss. This is the essence of FHTM!

Now, Shannon let me first address your issue with the health card you purchased. FHTM is VERY clear in informing people who participate with this company that it has X amount of participating physicians, dentists, eye-care providers, etc.... As an intelligent consumer, it is MY job to do the homework ahead of time to see IF there are providers in MY AREA. FHTM is a MARKETING business. We do not set the perameters for each company. We simply partner WITH these companies who COME TO US looking for a new way of marketing their products. This particular company you are referring to sets its own guidelines. As consumers, it is OUR responsibiity to know BEFORE I begin paying for a service WHAT this service EXACTLY provides. How is that FHTM's fault??
Secondly, in reference to the home security system, what good does a home security sytstem do without a monitoring base??? Who will notify your local law enforcement without a monitoring company? I guess the pretty GE box......ITS THE MONITORING SERVICE YOU ARE ACTUALLY PAYING FOR.....NOT THE PRETTYBOX.
Finally, let me address the commenyt on FHTM being a pyramid. Let me correct that huge MISCONCEPTION. You cannot label a company a pyramid when someone who signed under you has the capability to bypass you in income. This is simply a NETWORKING system of people.....leveraging TIME and MONEY for ME as opposed to working hard for someone else. Tell me Shannon that the owner of YOUR insurance agency doesn't makie CONSIDERABLY more than you? Sounds like a pyramid to me.
Check out FHTM readers out there! Best hour you'll ever spend!

Always take time to find out all the details

If you were specifically interested in the health discounts, did you tell the person who signed you up this? If so, you should have been told to go to the website and put in your zip code to see what providers were available in your area. That's what I did before I signed up. If you weren't told to do this, I'm sorry. Because there aren't lots of medical providers in my area, I knew that right now the discount card would not be right for me so I chose other services to get my 3 points. Also hopefully you were told you have 10 days to change your mind on this business. If you joined just for the medical discounts, this really is not the business for you, you should just purchase a discount program from another outside company. This company is for people who want to work it as a business and when you found out that the providers were not available you should have asked for your money back. I'm sorry this was a negative experience for you, it's really a great company with lots to offer someone wanting to own their own business.

Please research

As with every health care provider you need to do your research before you enroll in something. As far as the security system goes, good luck trying to find a company that does not require a contract. The contract is not for F.H.T.M. it is for the security company. You have to sign a contract with or without fortune.

Please do your research!

Hey Sharon. Let me get this straight. One day the leaders of At&t, Verizon,Sprint, GE, and Dish network etc.(All off these are fortune 500 companies by the way) woke up and decided to get involved with an illegal pyramid scheme to make thier companies stronger. And then Judy Hammerschmidt ( served 2 terms under Ronald Reagan as the Special Assistant to the Attorney Generals Office for the U.S. Department of Justice among other things I don't have time to mention here) decided it would be a good career move to represent F.H.T.M. as thier corporate attorney. Please do your research on this before you post such ridiculous comments. It may not be for you but it may be just what many others are looking for to make some extra money. Doing great with FORTUNE!!
