Foto Connection Deceptive Selling Practices & Horrible Customer Service Brooklyn New York

I purchased a factory sealed new digital camera from this company after seeing their website promotion that promised a free starter kit (tripod, camera case & cleaning kit) with every camera purchased. After making the purchase, I immediately received an e-mail demanding I call them about my camera. When you call them back, this rude fellow launches into this high pressured sales pitch about all of the accessories I need to by, When I refuse, the jerk hangs up on me.

When the camera arrives several days later, the "factory sealed" box is anything but sealed. It has been opened, some of the contents aren't even in plastic and it's clear that someone has previously handled the camera. In addition, no free starter kit. When I called them back, waiting twenty minutes or more no this ridiculous answering service they have, I am told by another rude customer service rep that the "free" kit can only be shipped if I pay another separate shipping charge. I'm also told that there is no way the camera could not be factory new, but "perhaps they opened it to inspect it".

It's obivous to me from my experience and reading hundreds of on-line complaints that this company is a major rip-off company. It should be avoided at all cost and put out of business by the New York State Attorney Generals office.
