Franklin Credit Corp trying since Jan 08 to get agreement on short sale, never able to contact same person twice New York City New York

I have been trying since jan 08 to deal with company, first to try a work out plan, no luck dealing with franklin credit, then tried short sale, i have a contract, again being, i think totally ignored they just want to fourclose.

My problem is i believe i have a very good chance of a loan forgiveness sitution, but can not afford a laywer right now.

the original loan was structed by amirquest mortgage and started in june 2002, by the time it came to close the loan my wife was under orders by the courts to be confined to a mental hosiptial for treatment which included drugs, this was in jan. 2006. when ameriquest contacted me to arrange a closing he was told about the situation but said no problem, he came to a locked and secure mental hosiptal to sign documents which is what we did and regret, again my problem is lack of income right now to afford an attorney,

any help or suggestions greatly appriciated
