Free Gas Central If it's too good to be true it probably is - Free Gas Central Flown the Coop in Largo, Florida

This started for me in September of 2008 as a promotion by a local auto dealer to get you into their business.

Free Gas Central offered certificate or credit card for $100 free gas in increments of $25, with a $5 registration fee paid by consumer to be refuned in the final payment.

Consumer is to send in $100 in credit card receipts showing they have spent $100 during that month at their selected gas station.

Within 52 days consumer is to receive the first payment.

e-mail is sent to consumer to say Free Gas Central has received their receipts in good order and the payment will be forthcoming.

I called Free Gas Central in January (waited on hold for about 45 minutes) to see where my 1st payment was. I was assured that my payment would be arriving shortly.

No such payment has ever been received.

To date this company's 800 number has been disconnected.
