Freedom Pop is not free.  .99 charge every month you dont use it.  $50+ charge for device.  I've been told you cannot get your full "deposit" back.

This weekend they required me to put my credit card information in 3 times and I still cannot use the "Free" Service.  Even though they've charged me over $60 for the "Free" service.

Lies and more lies.

#1 UPDATE Employee

free access for all

AUTHOR: FreedomPop - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 04, 2013

Our vision is to provide "free access for all", and we do pride ourselves on granting thousands of gigabytes a day in free data for all of our users. However, due to the amount of free data that we provide each and every day, we incur a real cost for having inactive users on our network and as a result we must charge a small, nominal fee to users who are not using their device. Regarding your inability to use our free 500mb plan - it sounds like there may be an issue with the card you are providing. If you provide your contact information, we would be happy to follow up and resolve your issue. Thanks!
