I was called and talked to one man who gave me what seemed like a pretty good offer for my credit position at this time on Friday, September 20,2002.
He offered me a $3000.00 unsecured Mastercard with a one time only fee of $299.00, no annual fees, 9.9% APR. I agreed that it sounded feasable, when trying to rebuild credit you usually do have to pay a fee.
He transferred me to a RICHARD DUNN, who recorded the various things the first guy and I had talked about along with my consent to Draft my account.
This fee was to be taken out of my accout on Sept. 30 and I could cancell anytime within 72 hours of the proposed draft, so I have been trying to call 866-898-8999 to verify all is well since Monday Sept.23 and they tell me they do have my file on record yet. Today I called which would be my last day to stop the draft and they still have no record of me and say that if it comes in later there is nothing they can do. I will have to contact my bank.
That is what I did. And explained the situation. And hopefully they can stop this, I have requested that anything coming through as a draft be questioned.
I probably would have gone through with it had they had my information in the first place but that sent up a red flag which had me searching the rip off report and BBB.
ad one of the girls not mentioned United Financial I would have let it ride until I found all of these reports on them and under different alias' because I was looking for Freeline Fidelity which hasn't shown up in my searches. Now I want every one to be aware that Freeline Fidelity in another alias they have with which to rip off unsuspecting individuals
