Freetricity Avoiding this possible scam Hemet California

I was considering purchasing one of this company's wind turbines, and perhaps even becoming a distributor. I found the discussion initiated by Troy and the responses from the company very interesting. I am no engineer, but I was also curious about the "look" of the product as compared to other successful products from more established companies. I was also concerned that there was no mention of how the product avoids damage at very high wind speeds on the freetricity.com website.

It seemed to me quite telling that the company jumped right to a threat of legal action while refusing to provide testimonials from current satisfied customers, or at least a list of distributors for those of us considering the product to contact. That seems suspicious. After all, wouldn't you want people to "brag on" your product publicly if it were any good?

I am just glad I at least found this site before investing, and that my "antennae were up" before putting any money into this.
