Purchased 4 non-working Ipods that had a $10.00 ea. mail-in rebate. Filed for rebate before discovering the ipods didn't work.

Upon returning to store for a refund.

The store deducted the $40.00 in rebate (assuming that I would be getting the rebate checks in the mail)
It has been almost a year since the pruchase but never received anything in the form of a rebate.
