I purchased a HP P6120F Computer from Fry's Electronics on July 21, 2009. The computer never worked right. I spent over three weeks trying to resolve the problem with HP, to be told, "It is a Microsoft Problem". I then purchased another of the same model computers, spoke to the Manager In Charge at Fry's Electronics, explaining him the situation, and was told to use the box from the new computer to return the original computer. This was done, with the usual crap of returning anything at Fry's Electronics. Well to make things even better, the replacement computer has the same problem. After 16 hours in 7 days of talking to HP's Technical Support, they blamed it again on Microsoft. I asked to be conference called to Microsoft, where after an hour I was told by the Microsoft Tech that,"You have no technical support from Microsoft, it has to come from HP per our agreement with HP". I tried to return the computer today and because of the box issue, they will not do anything to return the broken computer. This is a problem from the manufacturer, where Fry's can send it back, without the original box, according to Frank at HP. So Now I am stuck with a 628.13 Paper weight.

If you buy anything from Fry's Electronics THINK TWICE!!! Also Think Twice about HP...Their Technical support is missing the Technical end of it and the support...ha ha ha

User error?

Care to tell us what the problem was? Most of the time with brand new electronics you wont see the same problem with two units in a row. Most of the time it is user error.

Your advice SHOULD be - Keep the box and the receipt.  Everyone knows that you ALWAYS keep the box on high-dollar purchases JUST IN CASE.  And in your case, this would have solved your problem.  You blew it here - not HP, Microsoft nor Fry's.  Don't try putting the blame on anyone but yourself.
