If your thinking about buying a motorcycle or jetski. I would not recommended that you buy one from Fun Bike Center.  But if you do, here is something you should know.           C L R A, that stands for Customer Leagle Remidy Act. Fun Bike Center doesn't seem to care at all about taking care of their customers, unless it's just to take them for all the money they can get, or to  do what ever they need to keep in control of the situations they get into. This is how they took care of a very decent and special lady, that I live with, once she walked in and told the people at Fun Bike Center that she wanted to buy a jetski, but needed their expertise to make sure to get the one that best suited her wants and needs. This is what I witness as they took her for all they could get. For the purpose of this reveiw I will refer to my friend as Ann.

1. After Ann filled out an online credit application I call Jasper, the salesman I had talked to before she had filled out the application, and I asked him if she could get Yamaha's special 3.9% interest, and he flat out told  me what her credit score was, even though I was not even on the credit application with her.  In doing  so violated her very right  to privacy.
2. After joining in on the conversation on purchasing  the jetsk in A.J.'s officei, I  ask A.J., the finance officer if this model had the 1.8 liter engine, he said "Yes, that whats in this sports model".
FACT - she found out 2 weeks later, It does not have a 1.8 liter engine, it has a 1.1 liter engine
3. We were told that the jetski she bought had a 3 year factory warranty.
FACT - Yamaha warranty Department told Ann 3 weeks after she bought it that it did not have a 3 year warranty, just a 1 year warranty.

 4. We started talking about the cost of an extend warranty, and I told Ann, I really didn't think she needed it. A.J. Chimed in and told us that even tho this sports model came with a 3 year factory warranty, a 3 year extended warranty would protect her out to six years, a year past the payoff date. He then proceeded to tell us how expensive jetski repairs were. So I ask him " So your telling me  if 5 years down the road, this thing needs a valve job this warranty would cover it?" His reponse was "yes, the only thing the extended warranty does not cover, is consumables, and whats consumable on a jetski, - sparkplugs."  So she bought it.

Fact - The correct terminology when talking warranty is wear and tear, and if 5 years down the road the jetski had 1000 hrs. on it or so it would not cover a valve job. And since the ski did not have a 3 year warranty like they told her to start with, the extended warranty would of only covered out to year 4 anyway.
5. Then they sold her a prepaid maintenance Program. A.J says " You can save over $500 on your first 5 services, the first service is at 10 hours and costs $209 after that you have to have it serviced every 50 hours or at the beginning of the season, if you want to keep your warranty intact, and the 50 hour service cost $329 each."
Fact - 2 days later we find according to the owners Manuel, maintenance is required at 10 hrs. and then every 100 hrs. after that, to keep the warranty intact, and after the whole family riding it all day and only putting 3.5 hrs. on it, she would of only used 2 services before the 1 yr. term of the contract ended.
Fact - 2 weeks later she calls fun bike center to schedule the 10 hr. service, and they said it would normaly take at least a week to do, and the 10 hr. service would cost us $329. So we took it to Mark at JP Powersports and it cost $132

6 . The  day she bought it, A.J keep saying to would be, so much, for so many months, as she aded the trailer, and the differant plans, she was told in the end the it would be $271 for 60 month. It all seemed like the normal vehicle loan at  9.9 %

Fact - 3 weeks later Ann receives her first payment notice and finds out Fun Bike Center not only opened up 2 different credit card accounts on her, but that the total sum of this jetski was  put on one of the open end accounts and that the payments could ballon up to over 28% interest with 1 late payment and if she makes the minimum monthly payment of $273 it will take her 6 years to pay off.

Fact - Ann realizes That she needs to get a copy of all the paperwork they have in her file for the fight ahead, when she receives it she see that the credit app. that they had her sign, and did not give her a copy of on the date of purchase, has only 2 hand written things on it, her signiture and the check in the box that gives them the ok the seek a revolving openend line of credit, and  Ann says that box was not checked when she signed the paper.

Fact - on Funbike.com/term page, it states that the most that can be put on a credit card to purchase a major unit is $2000. When Ann finds this out she also finds they overcharged her on the fees listed on this page too.

7. To show you how much Melo Gusman the Fun Bike Center General Manager cares about his customers, It took him 5 weeks to reimburse the money back to her account for canceling the warranty and maintenance plans, and I will say that he has made what he calls a generous Offer to buy the jetski back as long as it has no more then 30 hrs. on it and no significant damage. Here is how that has worked out.  Ann being told ( By an Attorney )not to sign a bill of sale until he provides proof of payoff, sent Melo an intent to sell email stating that as soon as he pays it off the jetski is his and we will bring it to him. Ann being so tired of fighting with all his excuses, needs a little time off, lets him know if it is not taken care of by the weekend she would be unavailable to deliver it until Sunday afternoon. while talking  with Melo early Friday  and relizing that he is again just making excuses, when he tells me that A.J. doesn't know the differance in the models and their engine sizes andI relize he is still just playing us, I tell him that  if its not taken care of by the end of the day that we have a mini vacation long since paid for ( around $1400 ) planed for this weekend, and was not goin to throw that money away unless he demand that we return the ski after Friday and before Sunday Afternoon. I wanted to see if he was going to demand that we waste that money if we wanted to take care of this problem. Guess what - He demanded that we have it there by 3 pm on Saturday, and stated that she sign a release stating that she releases them from any further future law suites.  So if she did sign the bill of sale and he didn't pay it  off there would be nothing that she would be able to do about it.
While he is saying he will take it back, He has made it impossible to do so without  someone to provide legal help. Oh and by the way after the 3 pm deadline to take it back to him, He sends Ann an email stating that she was right, that it did only come with a 1 year warranty and so They bought her a 2 year extended warranty.

In summary I can tell you this.  Melo and his group at Fun Bike Center, are the type of people in my oppionion that just suck the air out of life. Every time we go try to talk to him, we feel violated all over again. It took them 5 weeks  to apply the refund money to her account ( $2500 ), after Ann canceled the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance plan. Another fact is if you do a search down at the local court to see haow many times Fun Bike Center has been sued, there are 3 pages of claims that Have been filed against them. If you find a great sales price at Fur Bike Center, I would suggest you find someone that has a price match Guarantee and go buy from them

If you do deiced to do business with Fun Bike Center,  Don't say I didn't warn you
