Fun Times Travel Free cruise or free hotel and airfare. Philadelphia Pennsylvania

My wife and I went to a 90min vacation presentation with the promise of a free cruise and 2 free airline tickets and 2 night hotel stay.  At the end we got our paperwork for the cruise and hotel stay and went on our way.

For the flight/hotel stay it was initially $99/person activation fee in the form of money order or cashiers check so we mailed it off with the required paperwork.  Then we get back another form for us to pick where we would like to go and it's asking for another $99/person deposit towards travel cost and another $49/person reservation service fee.  So this free prize we won would cost us $500 for a flight and 2 night hotel stay to either Lake Tahoe, Vegas, Phoenix, Reno, or Branson, MO.  What a rip off.  I could of easily got a beter deal booking through southwest.

Then there is the cruise.  Same setup as it was $99/person activation fee plus another $75 fee so we sent that as well through money order.  Get another form back asking us to pick our cruise and mail or fax the form back.  By the way that should be a big red flag for anyone.  Any company that makes you use money order and only mail in or fax forms in the year 2014 should be out of business.  Anyway, we get another form to select our non-peak time cruise which only leaves us with Oct, Nov, or Dec.  We don't know what cruise ship or how long it is.  Apparently 60 prior to the cruise a coordinator will call us to discuss pricing and availablitiy. Once again, no thanks.

I tried to call this company to get our money back and they tried to talk me into completing the forms and sending in more money to which I obviously said no and told the lady I wanted a refund.  She told me if I wanted a refund then I had to write a letter and mail it in, but they don't give refunds only travel credits.  What  a crock of...  If you are thinking about sending them any money please think again.  Biggest rip off ever!
