I signed up for a year contract with funtonia because it promised online that my phone and my cell phone carrier was compatible with its service, and after HOURS and HOURS of trying to get the ringtones to work (converting them, downloading software etc) I called my carrier (telus) and they informed me that their phones that are on their service do not allow any downloads of any ringtones other than off of their own website. So then I wrote to funtonia asking for a refund, and they replied "get a usb cable". Well on their site it clearly indicates that these ringtones are messaged to your phone, and my phone does have downloading capabilities for the telus website so I figured since my carrier was compatible that it would be ok. Now I can't get any ringtones and they've charged my for a year's service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are dishonest, and don't care at all about the way they rip off their customers. I am fighting for my money back and don't think I will be getting it. I am going to try to go through my credit card company, but it might not work. Save yourself the battle and STAY AWAY!

There is hope for refund!

For everyone who has been ripped off by this website, don't feel that there is no way out. I saved the emails I sent funtonia from my email and then I called my credit card provider and told them I did not receive the service paid for, and that I asked for a refund and was not given one, and I just received my money back!! It took abou two weeks BUT IT WORKED! So anyone who has been ripped off, I doubt you will get the money back from funtonia, but the important thing is to get a record of asking for a refund and then calling for a charge back to your credit card!! Good Luck!
