I wish I had found or seen this site before I looked at Funtonia's. I browsed their site and listened to some items whilst there but never actually downloaded anything to my mobile phone yet 17.88 was taken from my bank account with NO notification or warning. I attach a copy of the emails that have travelled back and forth when I asked why:-

Email 1 (My first question to them):
Sent: Sunday, July 15, 2007 5:22 PM
To: support@funtonia.com
Subject: FunTonia Email

Department: Customer Service

Cell Number: 07921 ******

Email: phi*************

Message:
I have just been checking my bank account via the online service and I see you have taken 17.88 from my account on 13th July 2007. You have taken this money without my consent because I cancelled my membership/subscription with you practically as soon as I saw it was going to cost me money I can ill afford.

You have 24 hours in which to investigate this, supply me with a full account of your investigation and reimburse me with the funds taken from my bank account.
If in 24 hours I do not receive the above then I will have no option but to contact my bank and report fraudulent use of my account and also notify the police and other ombudsman authorities.

To Whom It May Concern
Please read this very carefully as the continuance of your website depends on it.

I do not think you read my email to yourselves properly and understood it.

I have had money taken from my bank account without my consent by yourselves. I have given you 24 hours to conduct an investigation, provide me with full details of that investigation and reimburse my bank account with 17.88.

Failure to do any of the above will result in me contacting my bank to ask them to start fraudulent use proceedings against yourselves, I will be contacting the law enforcement agencies who will conduct their own investigation and I will also be contacting the relevant Ombudsman's office that deals with internet ringtone websites.

I look forward to your response in 24 hours, that is fully compliant with the above contents.

Regards

Phil***

So if anyone there wants to embark on legal action against this company, Funtonia, then please contact me and maybe we can all gain back what they have taken from us......because I am now out of pocket and very scared that my bank account will be debited again by Funtonia and I can ill-afford that to happen so please can someone help or point me in the direction of where I can go to get back my money?

Thanks
