FurOutlet ripped me off for $304.04 the price of a MINK hat and failed to return calls and emails after several attempts RIPOFF Weehawken New Jersey

On December 19, 2005 my husband purchased a MINK Large Highwall Beret: HAT-F271 for $279.99 plus $24.05 shipping, handling and insurance tax. A total of $304.04.

I received the hat on December 25,2005 as a Christmas gift. Unfotunately, the hat was too small and didn't match my coat.

I contacted the company on December 26, 2005 to inform them of the above stated report, requesting an exchange and inquiring about their showrooom.

They advised me to come to their showroom which is only open on Saturdays and Sundays located at Wilson Avenue, Englishtown, NJ 07726 in the Green Building. (732) 792-27777 (201) 348-2899.

On December 31, 2005 I was shocked to say the least. When I arrived at the above address, it was a FLEA MARKET. They were rude and had nothing in the store I could use. After an hour of going back and forth with the manager of the booth, he agreed to make me a hat and mail it out by January 14, 2006.

As a result, I have a written agreement on their letter head: Fur Outlet, stating Returned merchandise and New garmet to be made and mailed out.

I attempted to contact this company several times from January 1,2006 - January 16, 2006 with no response. I have left emails, voicemails and still know one has attempted to contact me.

This is bad business and I still have not received my hat or my money back. The only response I have received from this company has been an automated response from the furoutlet.com stating they received my message.

The following tracking number that is sopose to ensure quality customer service is #43179.

However, I haven't received anything of quality from this company.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP! I've been RIPPED OFF.

After contacting the Fur Outlet via email to report "OUR" story on this website, the Fur Outlet contacted me via email reporting my hat will be shipped out and how I didn't have to involve you. But I'm here to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. After placing my story, I received my hat within one week. And I must admit, it is absolutely beautiful. I'm just sorry it had to go down like this. Overall, this has been a learning experience. I will NEVER order anything on line again.
