Furniture Way Less Cheap Furniture- Bad Customer Service Jonesboro Georgia

I was a employee at Furniture Way Less and I witnessed A LOT of shady activity there. First off the owner hires you for $8 a hour and pays you every friday cash under the table to avoid paying taxes. You get hired to do customer service work but for $8 an hour youre required to move and lift furniture, help load the delivery truck, answer phones, input customer orders, handle financing paper work, answer phones, sweep and mop the store, vacuum the entire store, dust all furniture, clean the bathrooms, clean the store windows, sell furniture for no commision and deal with irate customers when the owner (asian) pretends he doesnt speak good english. In fact the only time you will ever see the owner is when its time for him to collect your money! The owner is extremely touchy feely with his female employees even though he's married and he likes to be extremely too close for comfort and make them feel uncomfortable by hovering over them. When uncomfortable complaints are made, he then lays you off with advance pay.

While working at Furniture Way Less I experienced first hand the many unsatisfied customer complaints. From wrong furniture being delivered to furniture falling apart and breaking within days or weeks of purchase. The furniture at furniture way less is cheap so therefore it is sold cheap. The owner is so shady that just before income tax season he marks everything down and offers to throw in a free vase or small rug with your purchase to lure customers in the store and lies and tells customers the sale will last until income taxes are returned but truth is, by the time you return to the store with your income tax money everything has been marked up 30% and there is no free vase or rug with purchase. The Owner is shady, the store is ripping people off and the furniture is cheap and doesnt last very long. I would rather spend more at A***** F******** or R**** t* g* (((REDACTED))) and know im getting a warranty and my moneys worth with better quality furniture.
