FWM Labs Ripping us off with different products; AcaiX3, Acai Berry Detox, etc. Hollywood Florida

Unfortunately, I've joined the growing legions of those who ordered a FREE trial bottle of Acai X3 (or one of their other products). I placed my order on April 20, 2009 and was charged $88.55 on April 25 even though I had not received the order. I called 866-949-0138 (number on creditcard statement) and in speaking with the CSR I was told that the charge was for the 2nd bottle sent as I did not call to cancel within the timeframe. Finally after much "disucssion" the CSR gave me an address to return the bottle for a refund: AcaiX3 Fulfillment Center, 405 East 12450 South, Draper, UT 84020

On May 5th I finally received a bottle and returned it the same day via certified mail which was signed as received at their warehouse a few days later. Thus began the CSR experience from Hell as I followed up on trying to get the refund! Dozens of calls placed to numbers found on the creditcard statement and website, 866-949-0138, 866-951-1393, 866-882-1281 resulted in nothing but frustration and a keen dislike for off-shore customer service centers.

I disputed the charge with my bank but was denied as "the product was not returned within the alloted time specified on the agreement", which is ludicrous as I didn't receive ANY bottle until well after the trial expiration and then only because I called to inquire about the charge. So it's a catch 22, and there's no way around it.

Since then I've done a bit more research and filed a complaint with the Salt Lake City, Utah Better Business Bureau as well as with Brian J. Weiss, President, FWM Laboratories, Inc. 3007 Green Street, Hollywood, FL 33021. I'm still waiting for a response from someone at that office.

According to other searches on the Web, complaints have been filed with the Miami Attorney General, so I'll watch that closely. I appeal to those of you have had similiar experiences with their products to make the effort and file a complaint. Will it really matter in the scheme of things? Probably not, but you will feel better. And who knows... someone out there may be listening and you just may be surprised. I know I will.
