Last year august after my son and I come from an hospital, the very next day I was admited for four days. My intestines were swollen and bleeding.
For three day everytime i went to the bathroom, I passed blood. The pain was so intense, in the hospital I didn't care who would see me naked in the bathroom I left the door open because I felt sleepy, deazy hot and cold. After I left the hospital, I had about two weeks of constent Diarhea and almost a year of constent stomach pain, gas and indigestions.
I hired a lawyer the next week and a month or so I received a letter stating That i must have touched something and put my hand in my mouth IN OTHER WORDS, not from Mc Donald' Big Mc

To Cindy. Do you even know what's going on with the situation? He's not an employee of the store, so worker's comp has nothing to do with it! He's a customer that got sick from their food! I have witnessed first hand what he is talking about. A comment made to his original post was by an employee that stated the cleaning agent will make the eggs turn green. I have seen this happen before with mc. donalds eggs. They turn a greenish blue.



I think this guy is being very generous to the company by only wanting the cost of medication and the one day's pay. He could very easily make a larger case about how he's been pyschologically affected by the incident. Most of the time, they're going to settle. I've seen people settle from "roach in food" cases and end up with $30k

In response to your comments, I am an insurance adjuster for worker's compensation in the state of Florida and the Florida Law is that you have to be out of work for at least 7 days, yes, 7 days with a doctor's note before worker's compensation insurance kicks in.



However, she is responsible for reimbursing you for your prescriptions as long as you paid for them out of pocket and did not put them through your own health insurance. So you are not entitled to your one day of missed work. So, I suggest you become more educated with the law before you make those kind of statements.
